Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness (DOMS) is when the peak of your muscle fatigue happens at a much later point after a workout. And it is terrible as it sounds.
I hate DOMS and love it at the same time, it’s that experience that indicates you actually had a great workout but like a terrible friend, it let’s you know much much later and even kicks you in the nuts while at it.
Just 3 days since a supposedly moderate workout, I’m still sore. So I’m still just focusing on the diet today. I took anti-inflammatory drugs to help speed up the recovery just so I could go back to the iron.
Today is not a great day.
